Sketch- I'm home! I had my surgery on Tuesday, came home Friday and I am down 6.6 pounds as of today! Thank you so much for your encouraging words right before surgery, I’m glad I’ve had such a smooth recovery so far! I am also glad I can go through this journey with cool people like you! Lynda P

Tony, thank you for your words...they do mean alot right now...My surgery is Monday Feb 23...they just changed it from an open to a lap..I am thrilled!!! I read your profile & cried...brought back alot of childhood memories and not good ones!!! It is nice to have this web site to share our joys & heartaches on...Just about everyone in my life I love is thin & they do give all the support and love they can...but...I know they will never know what I am going thru or what I have faced in the past & what I hope to face in the future, like the souls on this site. We can truely share and feel that connection.They have no ideal what it is like to just want to cross my legs or seat in an airplane seat and pray I don't have to ask for a seatbelt extension. I weighed in yesterday in pre-op and I'm starting my journey at 261lbs. WOW!!!! What a start...that's the 1st time I have ever let anyone know my weight (even my finace) without feeling ashamed. I do believe so much in my surgeon and my angels, but I did complete my living will today. Sorry this is so long, but 1st thing I have posted to anyone. I have to admit, I'm scared to death. THanks for your good wishes. My surgery went very smoothly and I am feeling great. Have already lost 10 lbs in < one week. Hope you are doing well in your post op period. Good luck to you and God Bless!!

Tony - wow!! I am thrilled to hear you are doing so well! Congratulations! reading your last few entries made me laugh as I am ALWAYS hot, but since the surgery (I'm 5 days out), I am always freezing (as I see you have been as well)!
