I am Just 1 month away from finishing my Physician suppervised diet! on Aug 3rd. ive finished all other requirements so my insurance coordinator told me i would more than likely get my date arounf the end of August!!!!

Yesterday i had my Phycological Evaluation, i gotta tell u it was a little akward in a way. But she was a very nice lady. but what really got me was the true and false test.... 600 T or F questions! and the questions were a little nutty, but i hope i passed lol. Also i will be on month 4 of my medically suppervised diet to where i may not be following 100% but i am loosing weight. Today i weighed my self and i am 255lbs! when i first started on this site i was 270 so thats 15lbs gone that i am hoping will stay away. May not seem much since ive lost em in a period of like 5 months but at least im not gaining. Anyways the shrink said i would recieve the scores in about two weeks so we shall see.

I have chosen my surgeon, Dr. Michael H. Woods! He is a very inspiring great person and I'm glad to be his patient. he has reassured me in all aspects and is straight forward and blunt with things so that's ok with me. He said I would be a great candidate for the sleeve and in his opinion he believes I would loose almost 100% of my excess weight. I don't think I want to be a twig I like my hefty self but I know I need to get healthier. especially since of my health conditions. ohh and I have lost 10lbs on my own! lol I was at 271lbs in December and now I'm at 261lbs.so I feel proud about that. I cant wait to get started with this journey!!

ugh im soo scared and I don't even have a surgery date lol!! I have my consultation with my surgeon next week, and I already know my insurance is approving so I know it might go very fast from there. I read all these post and inspirational things and it makes me excited for the sleeve but at the same time I am terrified!! but im doing this for my health and for my child. I have a very supportive family as well as friends. so wish me tons of luck!
