Hi my name is Cheryl, I am a 44 year old married mother of 2. My husband's name is Bill and we will be married for 25 years come this June. My sons names are Jason and Jesse, they are 25 and 22 years old. They are 6'2 and 6'3 and quite handsome if I say so myself...lol
I was chunky most of my teen years and really got heavy with my pregnancies. I have not been below 200 for 26 years. Carrying this weight for that long has and is taking it's effect on my joints. I have had my right knee replaced and my left one is very bad also. My hips are very painful along with my lower back. I am self employed cleaning houses with another gal, so if I am really hurting I can reschedule the houses for that day.
My Bmi is just under 40 at this time, I weigh 266 as I write this. I am waiting to see my surgeon, and then they send in for the insurance to okay the surgery. Right now my surgeons office is very slow and it is making me so impatient. grrrr
My husband is not really on board with the idea of this surgery, but he has to understand it's not for my appearance per say, but for my health and my life. I think he will be very pleased once my body doesn't hurt so much and I have more energy to do things with him. We will be able to go more often on our Harley and on our snowmobiles, I can't hardly wait to feel healthy and thin.
