But I had RNY gastric bypass on August 8, 2008 & I am down 130 pounds!! Things are sooo much better for me! It's great & it's changed my life.  I can finally get up & walk around w/o being in terrible pain & even getting in out of cars & booths are not such a hassle anymore! I now weigh 330 pounds & still going of course! I want to get down to about 200lbs or 180lbs .  I have joined a gym as well & I am starting to exercise which has also becoming easier.  I am sure it'll just get better from here.  :)

All papers were submitted by Dr. Noyan's office on Thursday, July 31.  Am I being too impatient here or should they have approved my butt already? LOL.  Anyway I really, really hope everything goes through fine.  I hope they don't need any other info & they just get on with everything. I just want it all done & over with already.  I want to start feeling better and living my new life!!!!!!! 

I know some people don't even hear about approvals until the day before surgery  & that is sooooo nerve wracking!

It's set for Friday, August 8!  Wow, I can't believe it.  Nervous? HELL YES!!! Excited? HELL YES!!!! I kind of know what to expect because I have been reading up on here but then agian everyone is different so I am trying to prepare myself for anything that can happen.  I just wish I could skip the surgery part of all this and just get into the losing weight part LOL!  Oh well....

Good thing is is that I lost 5 pounds in one month so Avril was happy about that. She just asked me if I could lose 5 more pounds by surgery that will bring me to 450.  I'll aim for the 5 pounds I am sure I can do it! 

Yay! Tonight is my first support group meeting I am really looking forward to it.  I hope to meet some cool people there!
