I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.~*~Hugs~*~

Selina... your living proof that we all are strong when it comes to food. But it also goes to show the diets we tried before this surgery failed us. Your a great person. Thanks for the post. I'm having surgery this August 13th, and of course am flooded with so many emotions. Keep up with the posts. You are one of the many teachers on this site. Each post you put on here helps at least 10 people. Even if you only get 1 reply. So with every 1 reply you get those 10 others may not post but they thank you. Congrats on your journey to success.Big hug!

Just remember to take it one day at a time. You are doing good. At least you realized that the food realy wasn't for your family, that is a start in the right direction. Good luck to you as you continue on your journey.

Thanks to all who e-mailed me about my trouble with vomiting/chest pain after eating. It's just amazing how many of you always give your support and suggestions for helping out and hopefully I've helped others in turn. WLS is a lifelong process and it's great to know we are not alone in this. My doctor's PA said that it sounds like I'll need an EDG to stretch the narrowing. She said it usually starts with trouble eating meat then progresses. So now I'm waiting for Kaiser to call back and then schedule this procedure (now looking forward to it, but hopefully it works the first time). Wishing everyone having surgery this week success on their journey to the other side! Many Blessings...

Selina, Don't be upset, easy for me to say. Just take it slowly, one day at a time. Call your doctor and tell him what is going on and see if he has any suggestions. Maybe try restarting with liquids only. Before you know it , your concern will be not eating too much. My prayers are with you. Please know that God will never leave you or forsake you. Hugggsss

Hi Selina and I saw your post today on the message board about difficulties keeping anything down. PLEASE call your doctor. He is the one who should be guiding you in this matter. Keep us posted! Hugs from an AMOS sibling! :)
