sleep apnea and my license????

does anyone know if you are diagnosed with sleep apnea does that mean the doctor has to report your drivers license to be revoked? a friend of mine just mentioned that to me as i am going to kitchener this evening for my sleep lab and now i'm a little worried if i do have this disorder that i will not be allowed to drive...any insight from anyone would be great.all the best
