6 weeks since surgery
Apr 26, 2007
I am six weeks out of surgery and doing well. Since surgery I have lost 46 lbs. I am happy with my shrinking body and enjoying the many compliments I received from family and co-workers.
The hardest thing for me right now is getting in enough fluids.....I try to sip and sip, but it seems I just don't get enough. I will keep trying though.
I had one little scare with a pain in my left side. It turned out to be nothing, but I like to be safe and not sorry.
I am looking forward to one day being in onederland, but I am still about 75 lbs away, but it will happen.

Prayers are welcome.

Introduction
Nov 06, 2006
Hi, my name is Susan and I live in Florida. I have been battling weight most of my adult life. As a child and teen I was average built, but in my early 20's the weight started piling on. I discovered when I was 31 that I had hypothryoidism. At that time I weighed around 220 lbs. I am now 48 and weigh around 330 lbs. I've done many other diet programs, and while I can lose some weight I've never been able to keep it off or maintain. I have sleep apnea, Type II diabetes, and I am mostly miserable in my body. I am hoping weight loss will give me back my energy and my zest for life.
