Well, here I am working my last day before surgery and I can hardly concentrate. Only 4 more days! I am filled with so many different thoughts I'm having a hard time sorting them all out. I'm SO exited at the prospect of a new me, I'm a little anxious about the whole surgical procedure and the recovery, but most of all I think I'm filled with anticipation for what's to come. The possibilities of good health, literally feeling this weight lifted off of me, and just feeling comfortable in my own skin!!! I am on day 6 of my pre-op liquid diet and I've actually dropped 11 lbs, which for me is amazing! I'm actually seeing the scale move! woo hoo. I'm already feeling better and my sugar has dropped considerably, I think they may be onto something with that no-carbs thing! lolI'm feeling much more optimistic than I have in a long time and I can't wait to see the new me! (yeah, can't wait to see the new me riding a roller coaster, wearing cute clothes from the "regular" store, crossing my legs, fitting comfortably in ANY booth.... HAVING A LAP!)
Here I come life - you better be ready!
