This is my second time on the OH website and boards.  I'm married (for the second time) and have a daughter born in 2006.  I'm a silly fun outgoing person and try to always have a good time.  My weight has gotten in my way my entire life.  I can look at pictures of me as a child and see that I was more than just a little overweight at 6.  I have always gone up and down but usually settle up.  Traditional diets have not worked for me.  Some because of dedication and some because it seems that my body adjusts super fast to things and I have to change things a lot to see results.  In 2009 I had VSG at Walter Reed.  I went from 285 to 165.  I was able to maintain that weight for about two years.  I was very strict with the diet for the first year.  When my ex-husband and I split up I started dating and it was a little harder to maintain the diet.  I met someone new and started going out and enjoying a drink now and again.  My diet started to suffer and I started to put weight on.  I figured it was coming and settled around 185 for a while.  Then it slowly started going up and I didn't snap back into a strict diet and exercise routine.  I started having problems with my stomach and my doctor sent me to see a surgeon.  He said I could look into getting approval for a revision.  I've topped out around 230.  I was approved for a bypass in less than 24 hours.  I'm looking forward to my second chance.
