Hello, I am a 35 year old happily married female. I live in Suitland, Maryland, right outside of Washington, DC. I recently got married in July of 06. I cant say that I have struggled with weight all my life... to be honest, I was extremely fit, until my middle 20's. I was a cheerleader from 5th grade until my third year in college. I also played girls basketball. At the age of 24 I got pregnant with my daughter and I had a very bad case of toxzemia, in which I gain 71lbs. Needless to say, I never lost it. As I got older, I got less active and the weight began to just pile on. I have tried numerous diets, but nothing seemed to work for me. I have lost 10-30lbs, but always gain it back, plus some. I am blessed not to have any major medical problem, however, I do have alot of lower back and knee pains, especially when walking. I am so blessed that God has given this oppurtunity to have a new start on life.. I look forward to a happier, healthier life... I am so thankful that I am blessed to have a supportive husband and family to help me thru this journey!!
