"I had VSG and Laparoscopic cholecystectomy done with Dr Dyslin at the Mansfield Methodist Medical Center. Dr Dyslin and his team have been amazing. His nurse, Melissa, is very supportive and knowledgeable; the preop nurse, Fran, was very helpful and answered all of my (many) questions; and the office staff were always friendly and made me feel comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Dyslin. He was highly recommended to me and I now know why! He made me feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process and I have been very confident that I am in good hands every step of the way. He uses hand-picked Anesthesiologists for his bariatric procedures, so I was also confident that there would not be any issues there. The surgery and hospital stay went smoothly. The hospital was also a great choice - it is not listed anywhere for review, but the staff and nurses were all wonderful, supportive, and caring. Many had stories of family or friends who had WLS in the past/recently (and some with personal stories) that they shared with me for encouragement and to provide a sense of "this is normal" to my anxiety. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would recommend Dr Dyslin and MMMC to anyone considering WLS or needing general surgery!"
