Stair Stepping and Constipation

Wow my body rebelled against me recently.  For months now I have stair stepped slightly.  I would lose down a lot and then up just a little.  I still showed loss on my official Wednesday weigh in.  On average between 2 and 3 pounds in a week.  All of the sudden in month 5 I finally had a long term battle with the dreaded constipation.  No matter what I did it would be slow until all of the sudden I'd clear up, then BAM next day cycle would start again.  This really made my stair stepping even worse.  I still lost every week but my losses dropped to an average 1-2 pounds a week.

Skip forward to last week.  Fresh dates have hit the farm stand and I picked up a box.  What a lifer saver!  I know dates are good for the stomach, but wow.  I know this is could all be a coincidence but introducing 1 date a day into my diet and my constipation is finally gone.  No more laxatives and stool softeners.  Phew!

Today I weighed in at 216.2, we'll see what it says tomorrow on official weigh in day.
