"Had to change doctors from Dr. Billing to Dr. Margo in Grand Rapids, because Dr. Billing has moved out of state.
Although Dr. Billing had gone through all of the risks of surgery and specifics of the band, Dr. Margo reviewed these with me again. He seemed genuinely concerned that I realized what I was getting myself into.
I'm VERY pleased with Dr. Margo and his staff. My care has been top notch and when my gallbladder decided to attack me 8 days post-op, Dr. Margo kept pushing to find out what the problem was (the ultrasound showed gallbladder was fine). He made a special trip into the emergency room at 1 a.m. to check on me personally.
The aftercare program that I've gone through thus far has been great. I have to meet with the nutritionist on a regular basis as I move through the post-op diet and there is a monthly support group for Dr. Margo's bandsters. I missed my first support group meeting, as I was having my gallbladder removed.

I've tried both the unflavored and chocolate. Made the chocolate with skim milk. Best mixed with some kind of mixing/blending utensil. No funny taste to it at all. Can be a bit chalky if not mixed well enough.
The unflavored can be mixed with just about anything, as long as what it's being mixed with isn't too hot. I've mixed it in with some soups and pancake mix for extra protein. No funny taste or chalky-ness.

"This is my favorite of the Zone Perfect bars. The flavor is pleasing without being overwhelming and the texture is great. It's not chalky like others can be. The texture is similar to that of a rice crispy bar. I'd definitely recommend trying this bar!"
