Hey Friends,
I'm frustrated! I am 7 months post op I am down from 235 to 155.  I have come to a complete plateau and I have 25lbs to go before I reach my goal weight.  I know that I have been eating the wrong things but it's just like I have forgotten exactly what I should be doing. Can anyone give me any ideas on what to eat on a daily basis so that I can get back on track?  Thanks Friends.

I'm really happy that I have the website to refer to!  I get on here several times a day and I have had so many of my questions answered.  It is really awesome to see the progress that everyone is making.  I have lost a total of 71lbs since March the date of my surgery, and since my journey began 83lbs.  This is the best thing that I could have done was getting this surgery and I see that my quality of life is much better.  I love you guys and wish you much success!

I need help I have totally been thrown off by what I should be eating and what exercise routine I should be doing.  I have been at 170.2lbs for the last week and it is driving me crazy.  Pre-op I weighed 247lbs, on the day of surgery I weighed 235lbs so I can see some improvement but I need more! LOL Can you all please send me a sample menu for the day it would help so much.

I went for my 3-month visit today with my surgeon and my dietician. It's good to know that since surgery March 17,2010 I have lost a total of 50lbs and since the start of my weight loss journey I have lost 64lbs.  I was dissappointed at first that everything seemed to be moving very slow but, I have seen that I have come a long way since last year.  I am so proud of all of us for doing the right thing the healthy thing.  Thank God!

I just received a call from my surgeons office stating that I have been approved for my surgery. I'm scheduled for March 8, 2010.... Please pray for me I'm so nervous but, I have God on my side. Thank you Jesus for all of your blessings.

I met with my surgeon yesterday and he is ready to submit my paperwork to the insurance plan, I also have my second class with the dietician. I pray and I hope others will pray for me also that I get approved. I'm claiming my approval in the name of Jesus.

I have met with my dietician and I go to the first class Nov 6 and than I meet with my surgeon that same week and he will send my information to the insurance plan for approval. So wish me luck!

I have finally decided to start the process with the bariatric surgery, I am really anxious to get the surgery done basically I have Multiple Sclerosis and my Neurologist basically told me that the weight was a big issue because it seems that it's progressing my disease. I had my Psych Eval on Friday and I meet with the dietician for the first time tomorrow. I have Illinois Medicaid and I really dont know what to look forward to as far as the process. Can anyone give me insight?
