Well on the 8th of March I will be officially one month away from my year anniversary of getting my lap band. This year has been a long one. I thought my weight loss was going to be a piece of cake and that I would see pounds just drop off of me. I guess somewhere in my mind I thought my weight loss would be the same as a gastric bypass patient, even though my doctor had made me fully aware that would not be the case. I am still holding roughly at about 90lbs as my total weight loss. I am hoping to lose at least another 10lbs by April 8th, my anniversary. I am going through a phase where I feel like I have not last enough weight. I look at pictures I took over a year ago and I see some weight loss but not 90lbs. I am hoping as time goes on and I lose more weight I will be able to see and gage my success. As of right now I am trying to stay motivated and continue on my journey.
