November 9, 2010 - I'm 9 months out and lost 110 lbs. I finally changed my avatar to my own picture and that is a big deal for me. Having this surgery has changed my life and I would do it again in a minute, even the $14,000 out of pocket cost. I look and feel like a totally different person and love to see the shock on people's faces when they haven't seen me in awhile. The hardest part is getting in my head and the person in the mirror IS ME again.....
