Had my first appointment with the RN yesterday.  Set up my appointment to meet the councillor and dietitian.  Also am booked for an ultra sound and blood work all this week.  Wow things are moving quickly.  

hi,  I'm still waiting for that first call from the centre.  it will be a month on Thursday since my doctor put in the referral.  I really want to get the process started.  I have been taking  steps to cut back on the bad things and do more of the good ones.  phone please ring!!!!

I found out the other day that my doctor put my referral in in Feb 24th.  How I hate to Waite for things.  I don't go back to him until after March Break so I will have to wait til then to get the status.  Unless they call when I'm away.

Ive been reading so much since my doctor recommended bypass sugery A few weeks ago.  I agreed to the referral before knowing too much about it and now that I've done the research I'm sure that it is what I want.  Problem is my doctor went on vacation and I don't know if he sent in the referral.  From what I've been reading it can take a while to get things rolling. 

Ive started making changes in my day to day eating.  The hardest is Breakfast.  Was thinking about protein shakes but there are so many to choose from.
