Well it's hard to believe it has almost been 3 months. I always include my pre-op diet since it was the beginning of the new me and then of course every 25th is my official monthly surgiversary . I feel really good at this point but at the same time I didn't think I would be saying this but I haven't made time for exercising and need this to maximize my weight loss. Because I have dieted so much during my adult life, I have to say I am very confused about what to do. Do I start P90X since I have purchase both the old and new version? Use my zumba dvd or take zumba classes outside my home to hold me more accountable? Join a gym? I know this is a vital part of the program and yet I am dragging my feet on this. 

I know I will get it all worked out, just doing lots of reading and research so that I stick to a program that is most beneficial for my weight loss right now.

Wow, what a tough week! I usually don't have long recovery times but whether age is now a factor or I was just one of those...gas pains in my chest are horrible! I do feel much better and I have already lost 7 pounds since the surgery, so this is exciting for me. Total pounds lost since pre-op diet and surgery is 16 pounds. It just feels so good to know these pounds won't jump right back on me for once. The liquid diet is a little bland but I know I can and will tough it out!

Yay....I am so excited. I can't wait to begin this new chapter in my life. I am tired of feeling the way I do and looking the way I do. I am aware this will be one of the hardest things I have done thus far in my life but I am confident I will succeed!!

Now to begin all my pre-op, diet to start Wednesday, February 13th.

Well, I have been waiting to hear something all week and just found out yesterday that the person in charge of scheduling the surgeries and prep op appointments is out until tomorrow so I have had to wait patiently a couple of more days...Breathe in and out!

I am so excited, now I have to wait for the office to call and schedule a surgery date. I was told I would hear from them in another day or two!

Well I just saw the doctor two days ago to discuss what WLS he recommends, We are going to go with a VSG. I am trying to educated myself as much as possible on this type of surgery to ensure the best possible results. The doctor's office is going to submit everything and said I should know something in about 2-3 weeks. I am getting very excited. I will post more information regard my situation as soon as I here it!
