This is Lyn's husband reporting that she is just peachy. Everthing went great according to the docter. She should be home on Friday as originally planned.

Dear Lyn, I am sooooo nervous myself, as I am sure you are. I think it really helps to reach out. I even made myself a CD with encouraging songs on it like, Angel by Sarah McLaughlin, and Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. Just think good possitive thoughts. It will be interesting to keep up with your progress since our dates are so close. I am looking forward to a new life as I am sure you are. Just remember it is all smooth sailing after everything is said and done. I have had quite a few friends say the pain is bad, but remember, it only lasts for a few days and every bit of it is worth it. I hope that the nice drugs work for you and it is very smooth sailing from here on out. You can handle it like a breeze, you came this far, and from what I understand, the waiting for an insurance approval, getting all paperwork in, and getting a date scheduled is harder than the actual surgery. Take care of yourself! I wish you a speedy recovery. Remember to get someone to update us on how you are doing. :-) -Mary Western Conway SC Pre-op- 284 BMI 43 Surgery date 7/8/02
