Question:
What are your ObesityHelp.com t-shirt suggestions?

Hello folks. You can plan on ordering your ObesityHelp.com t-shirt from us next month. The selection will include : a) "I'm only half the person I used to be", b) "I'm a BIG looser", c) "Just Did It,", d) "I'm going to lose big." Please let us know .... what other slogans would you recommend? Now is your chance to brainstorm. Also, do you have any connections with any people (yourself?) who make t-shirts who could offer us a good deal? We may be doing a run of 100 shirts, one color, standard letter font (three font sizes), no graphics, something maybe 50% cotton (no flimsy 100% polyester). How much could you get that done for? If so, please post the details here. Printing may begin this week, so please hurry to check local pricing options near you for us, or explore any relevant connections you might have. Thanks!    — ericklein (posted on July 23, 2000)

Eric, i will check out the local printers here in delaware state. What size are you going to make the t-shirt any time you use a plus size the cost are extra. Let me knoe what size you want the first t-shirts to be in. the printers will ask that question. Hi Eric...just spoke with my neighbor about the t-shirts. He charges $7.00 per t-shirt. The shirts are Hanes 50-50. He said he doesn't charge anymore for color or multicolor. No set up fees. Flat $7.00 each. His e-mail address is [email protected]. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Hi Eric, How about "ASK ME WHAT I LOST AT OBESITYHELP.COM" This is a great idea! May I suggest GREY instead of white. The color will wear so much longer. Also, PLEASE don't forget the extended sizes! I don't know much about gettig T's made, but at the couple of web sites I came up with the prices were maybe $.50 more! Katherin B.

Eric, there are SO MANY great choices, I thought we could do an on-line vote after everyone has responded. Perhaps you could compile all the suggestions and have someone dummy up what they would look like and form a page for voting. That way the choice would be democratic for the entire site. Thanks for everything!

Eric, I'm throwing my vote in for the "Been there...done that...NOW I can wear the T-Shirt" suggestion. I'm still chuckling over that one. Wish I'd thought of it. I'd love to see some bright colors instead of just white. I wore too many subdued colors for too long and now I'm ready to allow myself to "shine". Also, judging from the response I've seen here, I think just 100 shirts may be a tad too few. Thanks again, for a great site. cj
