Question:
Pregnancy - C-Sections- Will my having 2 previous c-sections in the past interfere with a Tummy Tuck

I haven't seen this asked at all yet. I need to know if there is anyone out there that would know if I would still be able to get a tummy tuck even though I've had 2 c-sections in the past. My incisions for the c-section are combined into one scar (bikini line). And my last c-section was in 1998 if that helps any answers. I had my lap rny on 3/1/01 and only have 35 lbs to go to get to goal weight, so I am starting to consider the tummy tuck within the next couple of months. You most definately can have a TT after a c section. I worked maternity and this was a reason most patients had to have a TT. Especially the ones that had twins and triplets.

I had a c-section with my twins. They were so big (6lbs 12 oz and 6 lbs 130z) they cut me from the belly button down. I had a tummy tuck and the doctor was able to remove all of my c-section scar now I have one very thin almost invisible bikini line scar. I hope I actually get to wear a bikini!

I had 2 prior C-sections, and am 3 weeks post-op abdominoplasty...no problem :-) Good luck!
