Dr. Park is amazing! She is extremely gentle and listens to you. She answers any and all questions and takes her time with you. I had my surgery done nov. 30 2011, at Kaiser in Richmond and she came in to talk to me before the surgery which went well. I had no complications at all. She also spoke at our 3 month appointment, she is very intelligent. She's a great surgeon and I'd do it again.

Transer to Richmond Kaiser Mar-2009rnrnI met with Dr. Stiles and she informed me that the new Surgeon is Dr. Li. I have an appointment scheduled for the end of June.rnrnDr. Gorrin is a very experienced Surgeon. He is a thoughtful Doctor. I have even read an online professional paper about bariatrics FYI-case he was a part of. Expert knowledge for what WLS needs per person. As of Mar-22-06 Dr. Gorrin is relocating to Eugene OR. I will get updates on new Surgeon April 25, 2006 at Kaiser-SSF meeting with Dr. Stiles, head of Bariatrics program. Everyone meets with her at least once through their journey.rnrnOkay, I never got to meet with Dr. Robert Li. I have been assigned to a new surgeon, and there are a few extra things I have to still do. rnrnI am slow to response to the new doctor yet I have not given up. Dr. Ramzi Alami; young, focused, and sticks to his guns type guy. I am still working to meet the goal for a surgery date. I decided to got to the Richmond site.

Dr. Park is awesome. She is always very professional, informational, and kind. She thoroughly answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed in my appointments. Everything went perfect with my surgery and nothing has gone wrong post-op.rn

Dr. Park spoke at my orientation, and I immediately loved her! She was (obviously) very intelligent, and seemed to genuinely care about our health. rnrnShe is very business-like, but also caring, which many doctors don't seem to be anymore. Her skill as a surgeon (to me) is undoubted, and her bedside manner is also great! rnrnI would definitely recommend Dr. Park to anyone looking for a bariatric surgeon.rnrnThe bariatrics staff as a whole is very committed to the health of each patient, and is very strict throughout the process to make sure we all can and will follow the rules.

I met Dr. Park for the first time today. I have to say, I really like her. She was very thorough with her explanation of the procedure, she answered all my questions and those of my husband. She was happy with my weight loss thus far (7 lbs) and gave me what I felt to be a fair Pre surgery weight loss goal (10 more lbs). Dr. Park gave off good vibes and made me feel completely at ease with my decisions, the procedure and the care I will be receviing at Richmond Kaiser.

When I met Dr. Park I was immediately comforted by her gentleness. Her skill was evident in that she is the head of surgery. I was her again today, a little more than 6 months post op and again, was grateful that she had been my surgeon. She's always made me feel good about my decision and my progress. My family was so touched by how she took time with them after the surgery to talk about how it went. She's awesome and anyone who has her for a surgeon will be in very capable hands!

Dr. Park is a gentle lady and listens very well. She was very understand that I had already lost a lot of weight before coming to her clinic and told me to only lose another 18 pounds. I found that to be very fair. I only met her 1 time so I will update later

Dr. Park has been wonderful! She is very kind, caring and compassionate - all qualities that I appreciated very much. I only have great things to say about her and the entire staff at the Richmond Kaiser Bariatrics Dept.

I had my first meeting with Dr. Park this past week, and WOW - do I feel fortunate. This surgeon spent an hour with me! My first impression as she walked in the door was that she was confident and I was nervous. As I talked with her and listened to her a bit, my nervousness disappeared. She was very cool, professional, and nice. She definately emphasized aftercare and fully explained the surgery. I had a list of 20 questions typed up and she took the time to listen to and answer every one of them. Although something in here says no person can be the \"best\" in all aspects, I'm inclined to disagree with that statement. I think Dr. Park is the best doctor FOR ME - others may not feel this way or have this experience, but, if you belong to Kaiser, don't look at the surgery as the cure all that will keep you from being fat (that's your job, not the surgeon's job), you're doing the work and willing to spend the rest of your life doing the work and taking responsibility for yourself and what you put into yourself, Dr. Park may be the right Dr. for you. I would rate her a 10 frankly - I'll re-rate her post-op obviously, I can't speak to her surgical competence, but she is the Chief of Bariatrics at Kaiser Richmond and one of the founding team that brought it there, so I'm thinkin' she's extremely competent. And her bedside manner, based on what I received from her during our first meeting is perfect for my needs. Listens, compassion, pleasant, and nice.

She was wonderful. I liked her from the moment I met her. She was really caring and concerned for me. She was very knowledgable. Her office staff were very friendly and eager to help me. She listened and was genuine....she looked me right in the eye when she spoke to me. She told me everything to expect and everything went exactally as she said. She did a minimally invasive procedure on me. My scars were small and my pain was minimal. She emphasized aftercare greatly. Her affilate hospital, Kaiser Permenante, has a great program for before surgery, during and after. Unfortunatelly for me, I had to move away only one month after surgery and didn't get to follow up with her....but the teaching I had prior to the procedure helped me to know how to handle post op concerns. I've done well and expect to continue to do so. Her surgical competence and bedside manner were great and she appeared to go above and beyond her call to be a great physician.
