Dr. Kellogg did my surgery on April 6, 2016 he took great care of me and did an awesome job. We had Washington state in common and enjoyed talking about it with him.

First, Dr. Todd Kellogg no longer practices in Minneapolis/St. Paul. He is currently working at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

I had my vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG) with Dr. Kellogg at Mayo Clinic in early November 2012. I can't say enough nice things about him, he is absolutely wonderful!

He is incredibly intelligent, attentive and compassionate. He never rushed me and answered any--and all--questions I had. He also came to meet me and my family while I was being checked in for surgery--I've never had a surgeon do that before! Usually you don't see them until you are in the OR or after your surgery has completed. I feel very blessed that Dr. Kellogg began working at Mayo and was my surgeon. I would never hesitate to recommend Dr. Kellogg to anyone!

My incisions are very small and they healed perfectly! I had no negative side effects from my surgery, aside from a little abdominal pain. When I called Dr. Kellogg's service to ask about the pain I was having, he made room in his schedule and saw me an hour later. He checked to make sure I didn't have a hernia or any other complication. Luckily, it was only a pulled muscle. He spent around 30 minutes visiting with me, answering questions and examining me. Again...I never felt rushed.

I'm now 7.5 weeks post op, and 40lbs lighter! Thank you, Dr. Kellogg!!!

Dr. Kellogg is a very compassionate man. He is a good listener, and was open to hearing my views about things. His office staff is amazing. Everyone is so nice! I have not had surgery yet, but I've met with him twice and he performed an EGD on me. His bedside manner is wonderful.

Dr. Kellogg did my LapBand surgery in 2005 and I have had a very good experience with him. He has been kind and supportive and I have truly felt like he cared about me as a person. He is very thorough when talking about the surgical procedure before and after the surgery. When I had some problems (not due to him - just my body reacting to the band, etc...) I found him to be just as considerate and concerned. I have never felt rushed in my meetings with him or like he didn't want to answer all of my questions fully. I will be having a revision to RNY with Dr. Kellogg as well.

Dr. Kellogg did my lap rny surgery at the University of Minnesota Fairview hospital. I met with him once before surgery, the morning of surgery, and the day after surgery. Otherwise, all of my appointments were with his nurse practioner, who was excellent.rnrnDr. Kellogg was a bit quiet and soft spoken, but very easy to talk to. He did excellent work. I have had zero problems post-surgery. The hospital is a teaching hospital, lots of his interns checked in on me after surgery.rnrnI could have met with him at my post-op check ups, but felt no need to. He actually performed rny on his nurse. Having been through the process, she was a great resource at my follow-up appointments.

I don't know much about Dr. Kellogg, other than the one time I've met him, he seemed very quiet and compassionate. I've been told he's very good and I'm banking on that. I'll update more once I have surgery.rn***NEWS*** I loved Dr. Kellogg. I had my surgery on Oct. 17, 2007 and he was kind and compassionate and wonderful. He took very good care of me, as did the residents working under him. I would recommend him to others, that's for sure. He gets embarrassed about this, but he has the softest hands! My sister's pointed that out to me after my surgery because he came to talk to them. I mentioned it to him on my last day when he came to see me..he got all bashful about it, but said he gets that a lot. He said....Guys aren't suppose to have soft hands...smile. rnHe's very sweet and a very good surgeon.

My first impression of Dr Kellogg is that he really cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable of the surgery. My impression has not changed at all, he is a wonderful Dr with a great bedside manner, and an overall great surgeon. His office staff is very accomadating, and helpful no matter what time of day or the need you are requesting. What future patients should know is that Dr Kellogg goes out of his way to make his patients his priority.Dr Kellogg when going through the pre-op stuff kept stressing how important aftercare appointments are. Not only healthwise but, making sure you are speaking with dieticians, and following everything to benefit from the surgery the most. They have set the first year when you are meeting with the Dr and the Dieticians and they do remind you when you come in for an appointment to schedule those post-op appts. Dr Kellogg goes through all of the risks, and while i had some of those things happen, the patient does need to ask their own questions when choosing a major surgery like this. Dr Kellogg is wonderful as i said before. I have had many things come up after my surgery and Dr Kellogg has been there every step of the way for me. Both his surgical competence and his bedside manner rock!!!

I feel that Dr. Kellogg is a very good surgeon, and he made sure that before he did anything to me that I was up to it which set the date of my surgery off about a week, but it was worth it. Thank you Dr. Kellogg for being my surgeon!!!
