Excellent four week nutritional class that will equip you for post op eating and nutrition.

I met w/Nancy about a month ago. She was truly a wonderful individual. She told me that I was doing a good job on my current diet selections. She mentioned that maybe a metabolic test should be done on me b/c I have not lost weight on my current meal plan. She made my day too, when she told me I was not big! She said I was a smaller canidate for the surgery. She felt that I would do well w/ the surgery program.

Nancy is a very kind, knowledgeable person. She answered all the questions and explained the needs we will have. She even brought a nurse from the floor to tell us what to expect. I was lost with reading labels, now I know! I informed her of my surgery date and she returned my email with a congradulations and come see me 2 weeks after for appointment. So that is set up already! I loved her soul, she really does care about us all.

Nancy is wonderful. I have had my consultation with her, and I know her from working at OSU as well. I begin my pre-op teaching next month with Nancy and look forward to it. I also want to mention Bev Maselli who has been my LEARN Teacher. They are both knoweledgeable about obesity and dealing with it from diet to lifestyle changes and how it affects our everyday lives.

I met with nancy for the 12 week individual learn program at osu as well as the 4 week pre-surg classes. I found Nancy to be VERY helpful with all questions.

Nancy taught a once a week class, for a month to pre-operative gastric bypass patients going thru the OSU Weight Management. She was a very nice, and imformative women. She taught us a lot.
I looked forward to going to these classes, and meeting others that were getting ready to go thru the same thing I was. Hearing their ideas, and food suggestions helped.

First of all, it's Nancy WEESE, not WEISS. Nancy had many good suggestions and alternatives to try. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She's very busy and hard to get in to see, but she's the best.
