LOVED this hospital! Definitely cannot judge a book by its cover when it comes to this place! The outside looks old and run down... but the inside is just the opposite. The rooms were private and comfortable, and the staff were terrific!! Loved my day nurse, and my night nurse gave me as much information as I could handle (considering it was the middle of the night and was up WALK, WALK, WALKING after my surgery). The only times I got frustrated, were when I was initially checking in and found out how much I had to pay out of pocket to the hospital (that was a bit of a shocker because I wasn't expecting it. The call the night before to confirm my appointment had mentioned SOMETHING, but didn't go into detail) and while waiting to get released from the hospital. It didn't seem like I could get a solid answer about when that was going to happen, so my ride went home, only to get a call from me an hour later to come back and get me. I felt bad. But, other than those 2 things, my stay was absolutely terrific.
Something does need to be done about parking though. My mother walks with a cane, and we had to park at the complete opposite end of the hospital because it was the only spot open. There was some construction going on at the time, so that could possibly be why, but overall, just doesn't seem like there is enough parking for the staff and the patients and the visitors....
But.... would do it all again. :)
Was very pleased over all. The nursing staff was excellent to accomodate me with my needs as well as wants.
I had several questions for staff doctor immediately afer surgery. He kept referring me to the book. "Read the book." Didnt answer a damn thing.

VERY CLEAN, OWN PRIVATE SUITES, THEY EVEN HAVE GUEST ROOMS FOR ABOUT 50.00, THEY WORK WITH YOU AS FAR AS A PAYMENT PLAN. THERE JUST A GOOD AND WONDERFUL HOSPITAL
Everything was clean. I had the best nurses. The room was very nice and if I had to do it again- I would.
The younger nurses made me feel welcome; the older nurses made me feel I was in good hands. I felt I was a well informed patient. They made helpful suggestions.
i was place on 2s the surgical suite, it resembles a nice hotel. atmosphere was very calm and quiet. the staff seemed to really care about my needs and went over and beyond my expectations.
