Memorial Medical Center Hospital

From the person doing telephone interview for admissions to the housekeeping staff and EVERYONE in between they were ALL helpful, considerate and caring. I couldn't find one single thing to complain about if I tried!

I absolutely love this hospital. I had 2 of my children there and had an emergency operation for my gallbladder and now my gastric bypass surgery. They make me feel very comfortable and at ease while I am there and I trust my family is in good hands while they are there as well. They also do follow-up calls to make sure you are doing well.

It's a very clean, and nice hospital.

The wing I stayed on was brand new and everything was immaculately clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive and I felt very comfortable there the whole time.

I loved everything about the hospital.

They congratulated me when I passed gas. Honestly, every time I'd have staff by and belch or fart, they cheered me on. I had nurses in every four hours for checks, and 24 hour service with the call button. Each shift change would introduce themselves to me and write their extension on a board in the room as well. They encouraged but did not nag about the walking, and I could tell they were paying attention because only when I went long one day did anyone even mention it to me. They had both broth and jello available at off times, so when I slept through a meal I did not have to feel like I was 'missing' something. Every room has a huge window, every room has a flat screen TV with cable, as well as chairs and a desk for the patient or visitors. They let my wife stay all three nights, the love seat extended to a bed, and since I like it cool in the room they brought her heated blankets at night. I was very apprehensive, my first major surgery and my first recovery, but this hospital made it so pleasant I almost look forward to breaking a bone now. ;)

Wonderful, caring, helpful staff. These folks really go the extra mile for patient comfort and well-being.

I had a few embaressing post op complications. The nursing staff was very kind and didnt make me feel bad about the embaressing event.

The nurses and staff on the 5th floor were absolutely wonderful! I have no complaints. The entire hospital staff are very helpful, friendly, and very accommodating.

What a great hospital stay. they are so wonderful. Very caring and listened to what I said.
