This hospital is like the others, you go there and do what you need to do and leave. Although some of the nurses here seem to be more compassionate than others but I guess you get that wherever you go.

I had one nurse that did not think I needed the amount of pain meds I was set up for. Everyone else was very good!!

The only problem I had was with my room mate and the hospital staff was quick in changing my room once my hubby complained.

The two times that I have been hospitalized have been great experiences for me (if a hospital stay can be great). The doctors and nurses are very accomodating and very sesitive to your needs.

I have be in and out, patient and as employee, of this hospital since 1972 and I have had all kinds of experiences but I feel it has gotten better over the years. As all medical facilities, it could stand much more improvement with staffing but, overall, it was a really good experience this time and I would definitely recommend it.

my family was 1-2 hours away and I felt the staff sort of ignored me unless I rang I don't even know if they realized almost the whole time I was alone...

The staff on the 5th floor handling the bariatric patients was very helpful, caring and professional.
