DS revision...

I had my DS in Mexico with Dr. Ungson in 2008 and lost from 270 to my lowest of 167...

I fluctuate in between 175 to 179....and I'd like my common channel shorten even more so.

 

Am I crazy for wanting my DS revised  to lose even more..

 

PS: I remember many of you from years ago..great to see most living well.

 

 

It probably wouldn't buy you much in the weightloss department.  Sorry!  Next it would be difficult to find anyone who would do the surgery, even self pay unless you are quite short with unresolved comorbs.  What's your BMI?

I don't even know. After having plastics I look about 150lbs, but for some reason I retain like 10 to 12 lbs of fluid or water or fat im not sure. Im 5ft 9 to 10 and 175 on a good day, 180 during periods of having given up. 

 

No comorbs...whatsoever.

You are at a BMI of 25.  Can't imagine anyone shortening your common channel from that.

You might see if they will restrict your sleeve again, leaving the rest of it alone. 

Most Dr.s give a surgery report to their patients.  All that information should be in it.  I just had mine with Dr. Aceves, and they made sure you had it, and also dvds of your blue dye swallow test, and some other xrays, before you left the hospital.  You are then soposed to give make copies and give one to your regular Dr. "PCP".  Did you not receive these things?

No, I went to Mexico for my initial procedure...wasn't aware of any of those.

I think you should just call his office "or email", and ask.  He has to have your records...  I really dont think they would think it was a big deal.  Good Luck, if you find out repost, because now you have me curious...lol   Plus then you can finally have an answer for yourself,  and you wont have to spend so much energy wondering about it.

The DS works for a lifetime.  Work it now... Get in 150grams of protein, keep your carbs under 50 and walk!!!

It's not broken, just needs a bit of reminding...

I wouldn't dare tell anyone else how to feel or what they should do with their own body, but man!  I'm 5'10, and if I EVER get under 200 lbs, I'll be so freakin HAPPY!  IMO, you have been successful with your weight loss, and if you really wanted to lose more, I doubt you would need something as drastic as a revision for such a small amount.

BTW - I'm a Houstonian too.
