Frisco-Lunch-Steak-Caprese Salad

Discovered a new way to prepare steak.....Cut the steak into smaller portions. Quick sear on all sides and there done! and each piece stays sealed with all it's juices..... cause we eat so slow a piece of meat can die real fast...... These are about 1oz.each.......1"x3"

And Caprese Salad/Fresh Basil and Balsamic Vinegar with Steak.....Come on! And talk about low carb !!!!!

This is a simple dish that is livin large !!!

For the Newbs that think eating is "over" post-op (I thought the same) It's just a re-discovery of how to eat. Quality over Quantity !!!

You can make this faster and easier than you can make a burger !!!!

One of my favorite things on earth is caprese salad ! I can barely wait for my home grown tomatos and basil to be ready !!!

I make caprese salad for lunch frequently.

Wow - that looks amazing (I'm hating you at the moment since I'm on the 2 week liquid pre-op).  I will definitely remember this for the future!  Thanks!

Yummm. I've been living off caprese salad lately, it's so quick and easy to prepare for lunch. Mine is shoved in a tupperware, though, not nearly so pretty as yours!
