Ok ladies, ever since my surgery 4 1/2 months ago my monthly has been a bit heavier, but I wet from 3-5 days to 8-11!!!! Is this normal?? Now, first couple and last couple are just spotting....but still!!

I went from a non-existent period because I have an IUD to now a very light one that lasts up to 5 days every since surgery.  I got my IUD 3.5 years ago and my surgery was 14 months ago.
I want my non-existent back...

I have an IUD also, going on 3 years next month and mine was almost non existent too.  Very, VERY light for those 3-5.  Now this is killing me!!

 I have actually  read a  few times on here that periods can get  heavier.I  borderline hemorrhage already so I am hoping mine  doesn't get too much worse!

 First, how old are you? Every 7 years or so, your period does change. I am now 51 and still suffering the curse! I know I have irregular bleeding, but it too has been worse since my surgery, so maybe a connection, but maybe just time to change again. Check with your gyno to make sure that IUD is still ok and ask questions. Good luck! Know you're not alone with this either and it's best to keep asking about it.

I'm 38 and just had my check up for the IUD, so we're all good there.  I went to him specifically because of the change after the surgery.  Of course he didn't know much about the VSG, but I have an appointment with Dr. A in December and will definitely ask then.
 

 I'm a week post op and mine came early!!! Ugh

 Haven't gotten mine in over a year (I'm 50), thought I was done....then during the pre-op diet...BAM, got it again.  It kinda made me feel good, like I'm not that old after all...lol

I am 4 weeks and 4 days out and had my period for surgery. I was due last Monday and never got it. Has that happened to anyone?

Mine came the day after surgery & yes it's heavier than before ugh...
