Portion advise?
Obviously at my stage I don't feel fullness. I'm sure I would, but probably too late. I am very worried about portions. I have been sticking to 2 ounce portions. Later I will move to 3 ounces. I don't know when I should go beyond that or if I should. My doctors paperwork says 4 ounce portions now, but that freaks me out. Instead of 3- 4 ounce meals like my paperwork says, I have 4- 2 ounce meals. Should I do 5- 2 ounce meals or should I try for the 3- 4 ounce meals? That just seems like too much to me at one time. Ugh, I hate being a noob. HELP ME!!!!!
Keep a close eye on your portions, make protein first of importance and the other levels will work themselves out.
What calorie levels does your surgeon recommend?
I am measuring everything! I made meals for 2 weeks. Measured them all out and froze them. Did you have 2 ounces meat and 1/4 cup veggies in the first 2 months or did that come later? I am on soft foods right now. My surgeon recommends 600-800 calories. Today with 4- 2 ounce meals and a shake I was at 646 calories and 67 g protein.
The 2oz meat 1/4c. vegetable Is what I made my soft foods from and then ate throughout as regular food....for example:
-ground beef with Italian diced tomatoes and a little parm and garlic, puréed
-chicken vegetable soup, puréed (chicken breast, carrots, onion, green beans, whatever you like)
You can do this with any meat/vegetable combo that strikes you.
I also ate Greek yogurt w/ whey protein powder, still do almost everyday.
Your doing GREAT !!!
Just keep doing what your doing all the way to goal !!!!!
Don't start the wig wagging .... stay consistent !!!

I spoke to my NUT and told her I couldn't do anything like that. She was totally fine with me eating less.
Im now 6 months out and still can't do 4oz. Im a 2-3 oz of dense meat or just under 1/2 a cup of foods like salad, yoghurt, or cauliflower cheese etc
As long as you feel like you have enough energy, less is good!
