Well had my two week follow up, cleared to start full activity and start on phase 3 foods.  Blood pressure was still in the normal range so not back on blood pressure mess.  Came home so excited to start eating made my plate without really thinking about portions and my new tummy that I had to save food for my snack and just put most of the cottage cheese back.  Felt oh so good to chew

Just keep on moving

Congratulations on moving onto your next stage.  Just a suggestion ----- make sure that you are always weighing your especially in the beginning.  You indicated that you didn't really think about portions and it will be easy to eat a lot of food, more than you should, and you will be so uncomfortable or it will come back up!  I am almost 6 months out and I still weigh everything and it helps me to log my food.

Congrats on being off the BP meds! Cottage cheese was the first soft food I had and it was absolutely divine. Couldn't believe how long it took me to eat 1/4 of a cup!

Congratulations on being off the BP meds.  Remember to always measure you food.  Loved that 1/4 cup of cottage cheese.  Yes, I couldn't fini**** at first either.

That is now my new rule to measure everything and log it. I did measure my lunch out but thought I could eat more than I thought. Guess I wasn't thinking.   Did log everything and I measured it what I didn't eat for lunch I ate for my snack. Next time I will take it a little slower.

Just keep on moving

Congrats on the great follow up appointment.  Mine is tomorrow.  I started my phase 3 foods this week, I have had pureed chicken that I cooked in crock pot for 8 hours and then whizzed up in the Ninja with some chicken broth and garlic.  Resembles baby food, but tastes great.  I have also had some fat free greek yogurt with SF Torani raspberry syrup and some mashed potatoes with skim milk.  Those were on my pureed food list, as well as pudding and applesauce, which I have not yet tried.  Oh, I have also tried fat free refried beans with some melted cheese.  Everything has stayed down very well and  I can only eat 1/4 c. of anything at one time and it  takes me about 45 minutes to do so.  So glad that you are doing well, keep up the excellent work!
