At what point would you say that your incisions became unnoticeable?  My incisions are still a little pink in color and contrast to my normal untanned skin color.

I think I need to get my doctor to write me orders for a nice sunny vacation.  Then I can write it off in my taxes as medically necessary.

I saw the other day someone saying it takes 12 months, but I don't know from experience. Just passing on what I read.

In my discharge papers it said it take about a year on average for them to burn the same color as the surrounding skin.

I'm two years out Nov 2nd and mine are still relatively noticeable. Not horribly obvious. But i can clearly see em, well a couple are more predominate. Then again i haven't tanned in years. I don't care for Sun bathing because I'm fair and i burn.

Thanks all for answering that.  I thought I had it in my discharge papers, but I was not seeing it in there last time I looked.

I am a year and a 1/2 out and almost can't see my marks anymore - unless I look really hard to find them.
