Fooled by a lable
This morning was a little cold, as I got to work I decided to grab some hot chocolate. I looked at the packets and selected the no sugar added thinking this should be ok. Made a 16 oz cup went to my office and drank it. Then I wen into MyFitnessPal to record it. I was shocked at the amount of calories in it, 120 calories for 16 ounces. I might as well have just drank a 12 ounce Coke. I guess I will find an alternative since I do not like to drink calories whenever possible. I wish the individual envelops would have the nutritional facts on them. Lesson learned!
Yeah, that "No sugar added" label can be quite misleading. Coffee places such as Starbuck's also have some no sugar added drinks that do indeed have sugar and lots of calories in them. Well, no harm done. Great job at logging it. Now you know exactly what you're getting!

I've tried that "Diet" Swiss Hot Chocolate but it clumps really bad for me, not sure what I am doing wrong. But even still, if you tend to drink coffee or even want a hot chocolate, sounds like you are like me and we double the serving from 8 ounces to 16 which obviously means double calories, sugar, carbs, etc. I still have those "diet" packets in my file drawer at work for those chocolate cravings I have but I still try to drink my hot coffee instead.
