Have any of your seen these in real life?  They seem like they could be a good "on the go" option but I haven't seen them IRL to check out the nutrition information.  Plus I'm on pre-op liquids, so I'm not going to the store anytime soon to look! ;)

They seem to be high in fat, medium in protein, and low in carbs.

I am still pre-op but I have used these a couple of times as snacks when I was really hungry while shopping (my Target carries them).  They are decent but I don't anticipate using them after surgery.  Too many calories, in my very humble opinion.  They are 160-170 cals each.  I don't remember the fat content.  13-14grams of protein each.  I do like the idea so I've started cubing some lunch meat and cheese and keeping it handy in little snack size ziplocs.  Same thing minus the nuts.  Plus, I get a better quality deli meat :-)

I was thinking a similar thing!  Great concept - perhaps easier (and better) if I make it myself.  :)

I saw them at walmart. It would be great if you were in a hurry one day. I like to put my own together though. I bought a small bento box with 4 compartments that has a solid blue ice to keep things cold at

I use it even when i'm at home to control my portion size. I am almost 2 years out and I have backslid so today is another day.

I think they are good on the go, need something in a hurry thing but I prefer to make my own.  The sodium seems a little high and I think I can make them with better choices and less preservatives.  But in a pinch when I need to grab something to eat while I am out, this would be a good choice.

Actually looks like a decent quick lunch if you were in a rush or on the road. Remember these are very processed and might be good in a pinch but you would be better off making these up yourself with meat and cheese that you purchased a the grocery.

I actually just ordered some 1.5 oz "condiment" containers that seem like they'll be perfect for making thing sort of "meal" out of my own stuff.

But I'm always on the lookout for "emergency" food just so I know what to look for if I have one :D
