Approaching a Year at Goal
Thank you Pamela :). Your stats are similar to mine. I am 5'2", weighed 225 and was 56 years old when I had surgery. I did not see myself at any particular advantage or disadvantage. I just followed my plan all the way to goal and my life has improved so much. Wishing you well on your journey. I'm cheering for you!!

I'm going to assume that you've been given many accolades (I did not read the entire thread ), so I will only echo the sentiments!
I will say that I wish I had approached maintenance your way, rather than with my more lenient and haphazard method. Congrats on a highly successful first year of maintenance!
Kairk I guess all any of us can do is try to learn from the experiences of others. I see how hard it is to rein in after a 10+ pound regain and I want to do my best to avoid having to go there. For now, this is working, but the nature of our problem almost ensures we will all face regain at some points.
So while I don't envy what you're having to do right now to get back to where you want to be, I'm grateful that you share your trials and tribulations so that I can learn from your experience. I'm so looking forward to meeting you at Conference!
