Okay, take your expensive vitamins eight times a day. The rest if us will read labels and make informed choices.

Any manufacturer can slap bariatric on the label. It doesn't mean the product is worth ****

Look, you have your opinion and your entitled to it, but I'm going to follow my surgeon's orders for now.  And I don't have to take 8 vitamins a day, that's just ridiculous.  When I'm a year post op maybe I'll look into switching.  And I never said that all bariatric vitamins are good, but there are a multitude of vitamins out there that are of a much higher quality than any centrum or generic version of centrum.  Centrum is a big name and has been around for a very long time, but the quality is questionable imo.

The logic is flawless.

Surgeons go to school to learn to be cutters. Sadly those of us who have been here for a long time have learned MOST know very little about what is needed for us AFTER surgery (vitamins, nutrition, mental health, etc). We have to do our own research and take full responsibility for our health.

VSG folks only need 100% of stuff, so they would need Four of the BF.  They'd still need to take more calcium citrate, though.

Thanks, I did not realize that.  I wonder why, since you don't have the malabsorption?  I wonder if they were seeing nutritional deficiencies in people just taking 100%?

I thought iron and calcium aren't supposed to be taken together as calcium negatively impacts the absorption of the iron?

That's correct.  If there is more than about 200 mg calcium, it will interfere with the absorption of iron.
