Not a thing wrong. Relax you got fluids and your body is adjusting to the trauma of surgery.  It will come off.

You are in the 3 week stall.  It is part of how the body loses weight.  Put three week stall into the search magnifying box at the top of the page an you will get thousands of hits.

3 week stall- do a search on it. Super common. Measure yourself- you will find you are losing inches despite the scale not necessarily reflecting loss for a bit.

I went about 3 weeks without losing anything a few weeks after surgery. Then I lost 11 pounds in 3 days!!! Follow your plan and your body will do the rest :)

if you keep your calories under 800 and get your protein you WILL lose weight. It is common for it to come in fits and starts. Just keep at it and don't sweat a little stall or too. It happened to all of us.  Diane S.

You are doing nothing wrong!  The first month I had a week where I lost nothing, a week where I lost 10 lbs.  Now, at 2 months post op, for several weeks I've been in a stairstep loss pattern...I stay the same for several days, then a drop.  Just keep doing the right things and let the scale do what its going to do.  If you have several weeks where you don't like results, make some changes... fewer carbs, less dairy etc and see what happens.  You aren't far enough out for that yet.  Early on I was taking fiber gummies and I've switched, they had more carbs than I liked.

Revision on 11/24/15

Somewhere on a message board I read "trust the process".  I try to say that to myself when I'm getting discouraged with the scales not moving.  I am a turtle and can't say I lose 1-2lbs a week, it doesn't happen for me.  I stay the same for what seems forever, go up a few, down a few then I tend to settle at a weight and repeat the process.  So I'm trying to "trust the process".  Keep up the good work, you're new to this (and a revision) and like everyone said, your body is probably saying WTF?  LOL.

**Edited to add that I just clicked the "read this" from Mo, above and there are those words!  Too funny.  Excellent link.
