Never been so happy about a decision in my life!  Feeling great, and today I rode 1 min on my recumbent bike.  Not much but it's a start.  Getting my walking in as recommended by my doctor, and everything else going great.  Once I remembered I was supposed to be taking Prilosec OTC once a day after surgery (DOH!), my gas pains are very much reduced.  1 week checkup is Monday, reallllly looking forward to Phase 2 diet lol  Never have scrambled eggs seemed so inviting!!

Have you been cleared for exercise? you need to let the nerves heal. This is a major surgery, we just can't feel it, because the nerve shave been cut :) just be careful. Walking is good

congrats on the surgery :)

Great srart!

Be careful of the eggs. They seem like they'd go down well, but a lot of people don't do well at first. Take it slow.

I used my recumbent bike right after my surgery too. But I made sure I went super slow, as slow as walking. Don't pu**** you're still healing so be very gentle with yourself. I did this because it was December and it was hard to go outside and take such a slow walk. It was less boring to put my ipad on the front of my bike and ride super slow while watching other peoples vsg journeys on youtube. Bless you on your journey. It's going to be great

I'm still on liquids at least until my 1-week post-op appt on Monday, Nov 7.  Hopefully they will let me go to Phase 2, soft foods, starting Tuesday.

Congrats! I was so excited to try many things but even now when I eat everything is just "eh" to me. Scrambled eggs feel really lumpy in my sleeve so I really don't care for them anymore. I rather have one poached.
