Am I on the right track?

I started my journey on 1/1/12 and by 7/23/12 (surgery date) i had lost 82 lbs.  Since my surgery  on 7/23/12 I am down another 140 lbs.  I think should be down more than that by now?  I have had appointments with my surgeon and he is great and says that i will continue to lose weight up to 18 on this post op and that i should not worry.  I am about 80 lbs from my goal that i set last year and i am barely eights months post op.  please send me al the feedback that you guys that are reading this have.  i want you give me all your experiences with the Ds surgery that i had.  thanks!

You lost 140 pounds in 8 months?  That sounds awesome!   That's the size of a whole person!  I'm just a newbie, but sounds like you're on the fast track to me.

It really sound to me like you are doing great. As long as your labs are okay and you are getting your protein, you are doing well.

Thanks! I just had labs done today.  I will know by friday my PCP and surgeon speak often as need be.

-222 pounds is really awesome .  But for statistical values it would depend how much weight you started at.  Like if you started at 1000 pounds 140 would not be great at almost 8 mos.  If you are closer to your goal than not now, it's perfect.

i am about 90 lbs away from my goal!  I am so excited!  I will be so excited when i hit it!  truthfully, i am excited now!

No doubt you we I'll lose  Of you excess weight.  You are so close!!!
