I can now walk up and down the stairs like a normal person, rather than shuffling up and down them, leaning heavily on the bannister, like someone 30 years older than me! With no knee pain! Woot!

That is great. It is NSV's like this that made the surgery worth it for me

One of my favourite NSV's!! Congrats!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
