Believe it or not your doing GREAT! I lost a 100lbs at 6 months but I started with a very high weight and BMI, for your starting point your doing awesome and everyone stalls.
At 6 months I had a 2 month stall, I'm coming of a stall now.

50 pounds isn't anything to sneeze at. Looks like you've lost 50% of your excess weight to me!! Just keep working the program. You say you need to eat more? What are you eating now? are you getting enough protein in? what about exercise? do you still track your food so you can see where you can make some changes if needed?

Those 2 things will definately make a difference.  I get in at least 100oz of fluids and 100 grams of protein a day and I have been very happy with my weight loss.

Are you eating foods that seem healthy but have too much fat and sugar content? Soemtimes self deception can be our own worse enemy. READ LABELS !!! Fat Free and Sugar Free are your friends the RNY is not magic.

I was stalling alot.  Anytime I up my protein and lower my carbs, it jump starts me again. Remember you have alot less to lose-it will slow down.  I am 9 mos. and down 83.  Think of where we;d be of we hadn't done this!

COMPARISON is the thief of all joy.

Hi my friend. You have done very well and you are not alone. I have only lost 66 lbs and have been at stall for a couple of months. I was feeling down about it as well, but have decided that we wouldnt have done what we have without the surgery. We will lose our desired weight, but it will take time for us and we have to see what works for our individual bodies.
Give us an idea of what your menu looks like. I bet several people here would be able to help and advise. I even would like some advice on eating as well as suggestions. I finally found a protein drink I like. The Designer Whey-French vanilla. Having one a day helps bump up the protein and the milk is counted toward the liquid (water count).
I myself struggle with exercise. Trying to atleast walk once a day. I feel something is better than nothing.
Wish you the best and keep us posted.
