Hospital Bill

 Wowzers!!! I just got my hospital bill a whopping $55,000. geez and that was only for 3 days!! Can you believe that! glad I have insurance and only paid 1100!

Mine was $67,000. Glad I have insurance as well. After their part and then since I work at the hospital my employee discount is 50% off of whatever insurance doesn't pay. So my total owed is $3,500 that will be payroll deducted foreverrr (since I only have to pay $50 a month)!!! 

congrats that your out of pocket was only $1100. I have to pay $130 to anesthesia, none to the Surgeon, and about $100 to the hospital. I had a cadillac plan..... :) and I am very grateful!

Mine for 1 day stay was $16,000. but that does not include the surgeon charges or the anesthesia charges, only hospital....

 Same here Im so glad I work for the hospital!! Thank goodness for payroll destruction too(284.00 per pay period for 4 checks). But I wouldn't change anything

I was in the hospital for 5 days and the bill was 92,000, I didnt have a co pay

Goodness,... I just had my surgery 3 weeks ago and I self payed. Now Im wondering if I am going to get another bill soon!

Yes, thank god for insurance, I had a ton of complications and was in the hospital for 28 days, my bills were over 300,000, and I think they insurance picked up all of it....thank you god!!! Glad to say after the complications got resolved, things have gone great!

 Mine was $27K and my copay was $250

My bill was 57,000 payed my deductible portion to the hospital, that I was done. Now Im getting a bill to pay another 363.00 that ins didn't pay... I plan on calling ins tomorrow.. hopefully they will absorb it, its worth a try!
