Todays my big day!

I go in at 11:30 for surgery and I'm so excited!!! I can't believe it's finally here. I'm a little nervous too but I just try to have faith that God will see me through this and help me through any bumps that come up. My grandma fell and broke her hip yesterday and had to have surgery in the same hospital I'm checking into. I hear she's doing well and I figure it will be a great motivator to get up and walk after surgery to go visit her (she's in the same area I'll be).  Say a prayer for me please and make room on the losers bench because here I come!

Not going to sugar coat it.  It will be rough the first couple days or so.  take it easy and WALK WALK WALK in the hospital as soon as they tell you to get up!  If you can, even stand up or sit up in a chair to "eat" your broth / liquids.  Put an ice pack between your boobs to make the discomfort feel better.
