Protein & Calories, Advise Needed

So this is for all of you experts out there.

I have recently started tracking my food, I have had a stall for the past 2 weeks.  I know that our focus is to get in our Protein by the end of the day.  I am to have a minimal of 60G a day, am 4 1/2 mos post op and have been sucessful thus far.

So i have tracked my food for the past 2 days and am reaching near 1000 calories when home and 1200 when at work, I work 24 hours shifts so am awake for much longer periods, adding an extra meal in the day.

I feel that it may be to many calories for my body.  How do I maintain my protein and cut out on the calories.  Can I cut out a protein shake?  Any suggestions will help, good or bad.  Just need some help here.

Example of a day:
breakfast: boiled egg and turkey smoked sausage.
lunch: some sort of chicken
dinner: fish taco wrapped in lettuce instead of a tortilla
snack: peanut butter with added protein, carrots with 1/2 tablespoon of dressing, or nuts.
drink: 2 protein shakes a day
*I usually end up with 1 or 2 bites left of each meal.

 Thanks everyone!

I don't know how far out you are, but 1000 calories a day is probably fine.

You can cut out a protein shake if you will still get enough protein.

The peanut butter may be a good place to cut calories & fat, as nuts may have protein but shakes have more bang for the protein buck. BUT 1000 calories is really good for optimizing weight loss without sending yourself into starvation mode (which slows down loss!!)

I actually noticed this too - when I upped my calories from around 600-700 to 900-1000 I lost better. Funny how that works.
