I now fit in all the old Lane Bryant 26/28's that have been hiding in my closet for a few years because they were "just a little tight" (read: way, way too small).

Yay me!

Yay you!! lol  It's always great to fit into smaller clothes. Right now, my size 26 jeans are baggy on me and I have a size 22 and 24 on the way. I have a lot of 18s and 20s that I saved but I think I gave my sister all my 22s and 24s so I had nothing to wear in between size 26 and 20. I even checked the Goodwill and found NO jeans larger than a size 14!

Thanks guys!  I am so frustrated with clothes right now... the big stuff in my closet is too big, the smaller stuff in my closet is too small... reaching size 28 is quite a relief for me as it gives me a bit more to work with (I started this journey at a 32).

Luckily the hospital I work at runs a resale boutique, I just need to get down to a 3x and I can shop like crazy there for cheap!

Congrats!  I too have been struggling to find clothes in my closet that fit.  Not a problem I've ever had in the loose fitting sense. :)   Before surgery I was 22/24 and sooo sick of buying clothes only at LB (they were the only store who carried Talls in that size that fit).  I was so excited a couple of weeks ago when I HAD to buy clothes for an event and I gestimated I was probably in a size 18 but when I tried them on in the store, they fell down.  I now fit into a size 16 four months out and now they are even getting big.  I walked into an Old Navy a bought a pair of jeans on Black Friday!!! Hopefully no more Lane Bryant for me!!!
