Fighting through the pain and back on the treadmill.
I have not been able to work out for about three weeks (or so I told myself) after having a nerve pain in my foot. This pain has been on and of for the last 2 years (it was actually part of the back pain that pushed me towards the RNY in the first place). After visiting the pain center and having the Dr. tell me that pending MRI results, shots etc.. I won't harm myself by working out in the meantime, I am ready to get going again. Exercise was so key to my success and I don't want to fall out of the habit. Truth is I was begining to feel so sluggish from the inactivity. Yesterday I finally got back on my treadmill and worked up a good sweat. IT WAS AWESOME !!! After a few minutes the pain and the numbness (while still there) took a backseat to the adrenaline and endorfines (I think).
