You can put in decimal points. Since they have predetermined portion sizes in there for a lot of things, I am constantly putting in .25 of this and .5 of that.. an occasional .9 if I just couldn't finish something but was close.

same.... I just use decimals, and I will use larger rather than smaller (like if it was a 3rd of something, I call it half). I'd rather be short on calories because of my poor math skills than OVER on calories because of them lol

When the screen comes up telling you portion size and calories, at the top, click on the 1 number of portions. It should open up to let you put in 0.5 for 1/2 a chop. I use it all the time. As to your other question. I can eat about 1/3-1/2 cup total. Often I will eat like 2-3 oz of meat and then wait 20-30 minutes to eat vegi or fruit. HTH

I totally missed your 2nd question...at 3mths my NUT told me to concentrate on 80g protein from healthy, lean sources then fill up any extra "hunger" with veggies like broccoli, etc (complex, not white potatoes, etc) and don't worry too much about calories. That may change at my 6mth on Thursday, we'll see

I see that others answered your question about sizining on MFP. I just found it for my Droid phone and love it. Spark People also has a similiar tool and it has a little more health info on it. It also has an app for your phone. It is a free site also. I also just bought a Fitbit and am loving that little tool also. You can buy them on Amazon, @ fitbit.com and I got mine at Best Buy.

In regards to your question about calories - I was able to get in about 500-600 calories at that point. Touch base with your doc office and see what the protocol for the amount of calories you should get in.
