???'s at almost 3 months out

I know that protein and water is important where does calories come into play. So, I am wondering about how many calories I should be eating at 3 months out? Yesterday was the first day I was actually hungry and I ate 929 calories and I have normally been eating about 600 calories a day. So here is my questions:
Is it normal to have days where you are actually hungry? 

How many calories should you be eating at three months?

How much protein and what is the best source of protein?

I didn't really count calories at that stage.  Unless you are making pretty bad choices you aren't going to be able to get in enough calories to do any damage.  I aimed for at least 60 to 70 grams of protein at that stage and by 6 months out I was getting in at least 100 grams.  I also tried to get in at least 100 oz of fluid.  If you are getting in a lot of protein most of the calories you get will be from that, anyway.

I average around 900 calories a day - sometimes more, sometimes less, but that's the average.

My surgeon's goal is 60-80g of protein, but I usually get in 90-100.

As for sources of protein - I have a protein drink in the morning for breakfast, and then lean proteins like turkey, chicken, lighter cuts of pork for dinner and lunch. I'm not a steak eater, but I've done ground beef. My go to lunch is turkey and cheese wraps. Dinner was chicken and cheese. I like cheese

I have a protein bar, protein cake (world according to eggface) or something of the like for a snack between lunch and dinner.

 Wow, my surgeon wants me at 46g of protein. Yikes!
