Liquid diet question

 I am wanting to lose more weight than the pre-weight requested; just so I make sure I weight the same at the doctors scales. I have lost about 10 pounds but need to lose eight more in 3 weeks. SO what is it that you all are doing regarding the "liquid diet" is that just protein skakes and water or what? Please help, I want to make sure that I am at goal weight, so that he will schedule the surgery.

I did one week of liquid diet before surgery. I cheated one night early out, but other that that one meal, really only did protein shakes. I lost between 8 and 10 pounds (home and hospital scales).

3 weeks of liquid diet seems excessive to me now, lol.

You will do fine.

I had my surgery March 19, 2012.  For about 5 weeks I did 2 shakes and a salad with lean meat usually backed chicken with whatever seasoning for three weeks.  The last 2 weekd I did just shakes with the last week doing just 2 shakes with a small yogert (if you can find it CarbMaster is the gold standard)

 Thanks for responding....I am hoping for my journey to get started soon. I feel like it already has with me eating better and drinking more water.

to make thingsseem bigger, I wouls add ice and more ater and splenda to a shake and blend it.
Also I would fill a large blender with spinache , 1 c blueberries  Fage 0% yogurt and water splenda  and ice, it tastes good ( you don't taste the spinach) , make a LOT for low calories and lots of fiber
